HEREFORD FC captain Joel Edwards has been released by the club, it has been confirmed.
The popular Herefordian skippered the Bulls to six trophies in two seasons, as well as leading them to a Wembley final.
Edwards has since taken to social media to thank the fans for his time at the club.
"So my time at Hereford FC has come to an end... 6 trophies lifted & a trip to Wembley in 2 seasons isn't too bad! Thanks to all the fans who have been unbelievable the past few years and have given me memories I'll never forget.. Wishing all the lads the best for next season. I hope you smash it!"
Winger Jake Sinclair has also been released by the club.

That is in addition to Mike McGrath, Max Harris, Rory Huntbach and Harry Franklin accepting deals earlier in the week, while striker Lance Smith has signed from Evesham United.
Jimmy Oates signed a contract before the season finished.
