THE Princess Royal paid a visit to the Teme Valley Youth Project (TVYP) in Wigmore earlier today.
TVYP is a voluntary organisation that provides fun learning activities, opportunities, information and support, for young people aged 11-to-25 who are living in north Herefordshire and south Shropshire.
Mary Simpson, TVYP project director, and John Stenning, TVYP chair of trustees, presented individuals and groups to the princess.
The organisation is 19-years-old this year and it took the opportunity to present a showcase of rural youth work.
The princess heard how the organisation supports young people and the difficulties of rural isolation that it aims to overcome.
