TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a double stabbing in Hereford this afternoon.
One suspect is now under police guard at Hereford County Hospital having been talked out of a flat in Golden Post, Hunderton.
A second suspect was arrested nearby.
The two victims were stabbed at a flat in Broxash Drive, Hereford.
Police have set up crime scene cordons at Golden Post and Broxash Drive, with investigators expected to be at both scenes overnight.
The ambulance service took emergency calls to the stabbings at about 3.30pm this afternoon.
Those reports were passed on to police who arrested one suspect close by and confirmed another at the flat in Golden Post.
The suspect at Golden Post was talked out of the flat by a police negotiator after a stand-off lasting around an hour.
He was taken to Hereford County Hospital in an ambulance under police escort.
The two stabbing victims are also being treated at Hereford County Hospital.
