HEREFORD United will open their 2013/14 campaign at home to Braintree Town on Saturday, August 10.

The Bulls will then travel to face Chester three days before an away game at Hyde on the following Saturday.

Hereford enjoyed a thrilling chase for the Conference title with the former Chester City in the 2003/04 season and Bulls fans will no dobt enjoy visiting the Deva Stadium, now known as the Exacta Stadium.

The re-formed Chester won Conference North last season and are tipped to do well in their debut season in the Conference Premier.

Hereford will once again face back-to-back derby matches against Kidderminster Harriers over the Christmas and New Year period.

Martin Foyle's team will travel to Aggborough on Boxing Day, before entertaining last season's Conference runners-up on at Edgar Street on New Year's Day.

Sandwiched in between those games is a home encounter against Forest Green Rovers.

Hereford then will face Rovers at the New Lawn just two weeks later.

Other Bank Holiday fixtures sees Hereford travelling to Alfreton Town on Monday, August 26, before entertaining the Derbyshire club on Easter Monday (the last home game of the season).

Hereford will then end their campaign by making the trip to Aldershot on Saturday, April 26.

The Shots, who were relegated from League Two last season, star this campaign on minus 10 points after going into adminstration.
