ST Michaels Hospice support group in Bromyard organised a Sunday lunch and auction hosted by David and Lynda Hughes at Newhampton Farm, Docklow.
The luncheon was held in a marquee following the marriage of David's daughter Alison to Howel Morris on July 19. The hospice is a charity much supported by the family and the luncheon was in memory of Val Hughes who very sadly died of cancer. Val was David's first wife and mother to Neil and Alison.
The day was supported greatly by local people and businesses and through their kind generosity the auction was hugely successful and total event raised a phenomenal £8,500 for St Michaels Hospice.
