Road reopened after car fire
THE A49 in Wharton has now reopened after a car was destroyed by fire.
A fire crew from Leominster attended a car fire at 11.57am today, and called for back-up with another crew from Leominster attending.
The road was fully closed as a BMW X5 was fully alight.
The fire service said the vehicle was destroyed by fire and two hose reel jets were used to put it out.
The road is now reopened.
