ZOMBIES took over the streets of Hereford to raise more than £2,000 for a county hospice.
The first 'Zombieshire' event saw 158 people pay £7 each to dress up as flesh-eating corpses to raise money for St Michael's Hospice on Friday November 13.
They started their journey into the city at Castle Green, where local dance troupe Into the Flesh performed their rendition of Michael Jackson's Thriller.
The fundraisers then headed into Hereford city centre via Bishops Meadow and the Wye Bridge, stopping to scare and collect donations for the hospice at sponsored pubs before attending an after-party at The Venue.
The event, which raised more than £2,000, was organised by Hereford's Norma Blake who is committed to raising as much money as possible for the hospice as it is a cause close to her heart.
Plans are in place for a bigger and better Zombieshire next year, as well as a junior event.
