A HEREFORD school will finally be able to enjoy its own real Christmas tree after going without one for 18 years.
Barrs Court School in Hereford had been looking decidedly unfestive with just one artificial tree tucked away in the corner of a room.
Business manager, Sharon Williams, decided to change this and wrote to Waitrose in Hereford, who then donated two eight-foot trees, six boxes of baubles and two stars.
Mrs Williams said: "The trees will be seen daily by our students at the beginning of the day, and will be an amazing sensory experience for them to start their school day."
Pupils and staff went to Waitrose last Monday to collect the special delivery.
