THE Ross Roadies recently held their 16th Classic and Vintage Vehicle Road Run, including the 3rd Les Jenkins Memorial Tractor Road Run in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
The winner of the Les Jenkins Memorial Shield for the Best Presented Tractor, was Ian Jackson from Llangrove with his 1963 Fordson Dexta.
Pat Powell presented the Memorial Shield on behalf of herself and the Jenkins family, to Ian which was witnessed by a few of the Ross Roadies supporters at the Yew Tree Inn, Peterstow.
Entries are now being taken for the next Road Run that takes place on Easter Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Yew Tree Inn, Peterstow.
Once again all profits are in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Following the run a substantial cheque (the profits of our 2015 events) will be presented by the Mayor and Mayoress of Ross-on-Wye, Colin and Anne Gray to the MAAC on the club's behalf. Anyone wishing to join, or for further details, can contact Colin Davies on 07510772250.
