A GROUP of volunteers helped to 'Clean for the Queen' and tidy a Hereford industrial estate of rubbish.
The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) tackled the Rotherwas Estate and Skylon Park recently, collecting 35 bags of rubbish, an old freezer and two car tyres.
This was part of the nationwide campaign to clean up Britain ready for Her Majesty The Queen's 90th birthday in June.
RRT spokesperson Clive Haughton said: "We were delighted to join the local community in this much needed campaign to clean up Britain, and it's great to see the area looking better.
"Many of those who joined the litter picking event work on the business estate or live locally, and take pride in their community.
"RRT would like to thank Helping Hand, who donated some litter pickers and some litter bag rings to help in the clean up operation."
