BASED at The Yew Tree Inn, Peterstow, on Easter Monday, the Ross Roadies held their latest Classic and Vintage Vehicle Road Run in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, they were joined on the day by the Ross-on-Wye mayor Cllr Colin Gray and mayoress Mrs Anne Gray, who were then transported back in time, courtesy of Mr and Mrs Alan Baker in their stunning 1925 Singer Saloon.
On their return from their tour of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, the mayor presented on behalf of Ross Roadies, a cheque for £2400 to Mary Seldon of MAAC, (the profits from the 2015 events).
This now brings the running total donated to MAAC to an amazing £10,000.
Many thanks to all of the entrants and enthusiasts for all their continuing support.
The next Ross Roadies event will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 29. For anyone wishing to join them or for further details of fundraising for MAAC, please call Colin Davies on 07510772250.
