DILWYN Show is to take place on the Bank Holiday Monday from 10am onwards.
A variety of events and competitions for the public to participate in will be hosted including the ever popular horse show and companion dog show.
Activities for children include puppet shows, face painting and fun rides with the theme of country and western featuring heavily. The craft tent will provide the opportunity to see practical demonstrations and to purchase gifts and souvenirs from local craftsmen, including Will Carr’s garden sculptures. The Company of Horse Men and The Rockwood Dog Display Team, both of whom are attending the show for the first time, will provide main ring entertainment. Music will be provided during the traditional May Pole dance and throughout the day by dance displays and a live band. A wide variety of refreshments will be available including a tea tent and bar. The evening before (Sunday) there will be a hog roast taking place in the centre of the village at The Crown Inn from 7pm onwards.
