THIS Sunday, Colwall Orchard Group will be hosting a Dawn Chorus ramble around the orchards of Colwall.
The event will be followed by breakfast at Colwall Community Orchard as part of this year's International Dawn Chorus Day.
Bird lovers from far and wide will be joining in this year's event, rising early to hear birds greet the sunrise and appreciate how much wild birds contribute to our lives.
International Dawn Chorus Day is set to be the biggest and most interactive ever, with participants worldwide streaming audio feeds of the chorus, using the hashtag #idcd on Twitter to share their experiences of the event and upload images of the array of birds they hear.
The Colwall Orchard Group was set-up in 2007 to identify and assess orchards in the parish.
It now conserves, promotes and celebrates orchards in and around the village. Members help people manage orchards as well as promoting the use of sustainable orchard produce.
The group also provides assistance to orchard owners and others in across Herefordshire and beyond.
