IT'S another night of traffic gridlock - if you can avoid the city centre take an alternative route. We're told Barrs Court Road and Aylestone Hill are very bad.

Earlier reports of an accident have not been confirmed by police - a spokeswoman said this is simply down to sheer volume of traffic tonight.

So in other words, just a very bad Friday night!

Widemarsh Street and Blue School Street are also badly affected.
