A THIRD person has been arrested in connection with a police investigation linked to the South Herefordshire Hunt.
West Mercia Police confirmed today that a 37-year-old man from Abergavenny was arrested on June 2 on suspcion of failing to prevent the causing of unnecessary suffering to an animal.
He has been released on bail until a date in August.
Last Friday, the Hereford Times reported that a man and a woman from Hereford were arrested on suspicion of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
The 37-year-old man and the 27-year-old woman were both released on bail until a date in August.
The South Herefordshire Hunt, which has its headquarters in Wormelow, was locked up last week.
A spokesman said from the hunt told the Hereford Times they could not respond to questions while there was an ongoing police investigation.
