A POPULAR annual country fair could be moved into the city centre for next year's event.
The Herefordshire Country Fair was held in Caradoc, near Ross-on-Wye, on Sunday and welcomed approximately 10,000 visitors.
The fair is in its 38th year and as well as providing family entertainment it also raises money for charity.
Organisers are now looking to hold the fair on the King George V playing fields in Hereford for 2017.
Show director Jayne Porchester said: "There will be a huge varied audience. First of all we are going to really engage the city centre and show people in the city, this is your fair too.
"It is not about some preconceptions people may have. But it is all about fun and family entertainment."
This year they introduced camel racing to the day but Ms Porchester is unsure if this will return next year.
But she did say people can expect the regular events including the equestrian events, fishing, a classic car display and a shopping marquee.
They are considering holding the event in Hereford in conjunction with the First World War commemorations 100 years on.
Ms Porchester said they are planning to have a marquee informing people about what happened in 1917 and how it affected Herefordshire.
She said the Hereford site is bigger than people might think.
She added: "There is so much goodwill to keep these fairs alive. We do try and keep it traditional."
The fair raises money for charity- the main charity this year was the Addington Fund.
This is a registered farming charity with its main area of work to provide homes for farming families living in England and Wales who have to leave the industry, through no fault of their own, and by doing so will lose their home.
