A GATHERING to discuss tree support networks around the county is to take place in Hereford tonight.
The Herefordshire Green Network will be hosting the next in its series of monthly discussion evenings at De Koffie Pot at 7.30pm.
Nic Howes will discuss the work of tree wardens and explain how others can get involved.
It will also be an opportunity to find out about the work of the Herefordshire Tree Forum from Mo Burns.
The Tree Forum is a group of local and national organisations and individuals who collaborate strategically on tree and green infrastructure projects.
Mo said: "Several groups around Herefordshire are currently mapping local significant trees. There is also a Black Poplar group which has the involvement of local ancient tree verifiers."
There will be time for discussion and questions at the free event.
