A CONSUMER champion for health and social care has said it is disappointed with the decision to close the walk-in centre in Hereford.
Healthwatch Herefordshire said the walk-in centre is a popular, practical and quality service solution to primary care access for people across the county, especially for those who find it difficult to get same day access to a GP appointment at their registered practice.
Healthwatch wants to put on record that they will be monitoring closely the impact of the transition and closure to ensure that patients are not negatively impacted by the decision that has been made.
Would you like to have your say on health and social care services in Herefordshire? Healthwatch Herefordshire Annual Conference is being held today from 1pm to 4pm, at the Shirehall in Hereford and members of the public are welcome to attend.
