Police investigating the death of Julie Fox have arrested a 43-year-old man from Worcester on suspicion of murder.
Ms Fox's body was found in her bungalow in Carnforth Drive, Worcester, on the evening of Wednesday, December 27.
A post mortem examination established she died from a head injury.
The police investigation is ongoing and detectives are continuing to appeal for information.
Detective Superintendent Adrian McGee said: "We're still keen to speak to anyone who knew Julie or saw her in the last couple of weeks.
"We're especially keen to locate Julie's pink handbag (seen in picture).
She had this with her days before she died and it is missing from her bungalow."
