A CLIMBING centre in Gloucester is offering help to those left out of pocket by the closure of The Send.
The Warehouse Climbing and Caving Centre, positioned near Gloucester Docks, has ‘offered assistance’ after many people brought vouchers for The Send as Christmas presents or booked lessons before its unexpected closure last month.
A statement on the Warehouse Climbing and Caving Centre website said: “The Warehouse were sorry to hear the recent news about The Send in Hereford. We’d heard many good things about the centre since its opening and it’s always sad to hear of the demise of any climbing centre. We have tried contacting the owners to see if we can help out in any way but are as yet to receive a response.
“We understand that some people have been left disappointed and out of pocket by the closure, and if we are able to, we’re keen to offer assistance to those affected where we can. If you can drop an email to our General Manager on gm@the-warehouse.co.uk with details of your situation, we’ll see if there is anything that we can do to help.”
