TWO women were checked over by paramedics following a fire in a chalet in a county village.
Fire crews from Ewyas Harold, Peterchurch and Hereford were called at around 12.15pm on Saturday to the fire at a farm in Longtown in southwest Herefordshire.
The fire service said the fire involved a single storey chalet.
The fire was put out using main jets and breathing apparatus. An environmental unit from Stourport attended to limit water run off.
An ambulance spokesman said they sent an ambulance and paramedic officer.
He said: "We assisted two ladies, one in her 50s and one in her 70s. Neither were conveyed to hospital. We spent a bit of time contacting their GP - due to the extensive fire they had lost pretty much everything. We were just getting them sorted out from a medical perspective."
