A MUM was injured in a hit and run when she was crossing a road in Leominster with her five-year-old daughter.
The victim was crossing Ryelands Road in Leominster at approximately 7:45am on Thursday, May 3 when a vehicle, believed to be a White Peugeot 204, turned onto the road from Westfield Walk junction.
The car collided with the woman who suffered minor injuries and her daughter was uninjured.
The driver, described as a young man, failed to stop and is believed to have headed off towards the Aldi supermarket and town centre.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have been within the area at the time of the incident or who saw the car and the manner in which it was being driven before the crash to come forward.
