A CAR was destroyed by fire in Bromyard today.

Firefighters were called this afternoon to the car park of the town's rugby club.

Pictures posted on social media show that the car was destroyed by the fire off Tenbury Road.

There is, as yet, no information on any potential injuries suffered by those involved.

Meanwhile, a main road close to Bromyard remains closed on a busy day for the emergency services in the east of the county.

The A417 between Burley Gate and Newtown Cross was shut by police after a road accident.
