A CAR was destroyed in a fire that closed a main road in north Herefordshire this morning (Tuesday).
A fire service spokesperson said the A4112 was blocked in both directions at Leysters.
Fire crews from Tenbury were called to reports of the fire at 6.55am.
The blaze was put out by firefighters using one hose reel and two breathing apparatuses.
Rescue cutting equipment was also used to access the engine and boot of the wrecked motor.
