AN EMERGENCY road closure is in force this afternoon after a sinkhole opened up in a Hereford street.
Herefordshire Council and Balfour Beatty Living Places said Foley Street, which runs between Ledbury Road and the Foley Trading Estate in Hereford, is closed due to the sinkhole.

The road will be closed for eight days from today (March 17) for sinkhole remedial works, the council said.
The trading estate remains accessible via Eign Mill Road.
