A HEREFORDSHIRE fire crew was called out to a combine harvester fire earlier today.
A Water Carrier from Leominster Station was called at 12:18 pm to a large vehicle on fire at Rock near Kidderminster, along with two other Hereford and Worcester Fire Service crews.
A spokesperson from Hereford and Worcester Fire Service said: "On arrival, the crews discovered a combine harvester and standing crops well alight. The fire was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using two hosereels.
"Damping down took place before incident was marked as pending closure at 15:30 but a reinspection will take place later this afternoon."
