Update: A person was taken to hospital following the incident.
A VAN fire has this afternoon (Saturday) caused a bridge to close in Hereford.
Both the fire and ambulance services have been called to Roman Road, near the Volkswagen Garage.

There are currently cones near the bridge, resulting in vehicles having to turn around.
The fire led to black smoke billowing in the sky, with people many parts of the city all reportedly seeing it.
However, that soon subsided and it looks like the fire service soon brought the fire under under control.
