FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car fire in a Herefordshire town yesterday (December 5).
A crew from Ross-on-Wye was called to reports of a car fire in Hildersley on the outskirts of the town.

A spokesperson for the fire service said that the car was "well alight" when firefighters got to it.
They added: "Ross-on-Wye fire station was called at 6pm on December 5 to a car on fire in Hildersley, Ross-on-Wye. It was extinguished by two firefighters using one hose reel jet.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required. The incident was marked as pending closure at 6.29pm."
