A SKODA driver from Hereford has been banned and ordered to pay hundreds after he was caught drink-driving without paying due care and attention.
Michael Donnelly pleaded guilty to one count of driving a vehicle while above the alcohol limit, one count of driving a vehicle on a road without due care and attention, one count of driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and one count of driving a vehicle on a road without third party insurance.
The court heard that the 49-year-old had been caught out behind the wheel of a Skoda Octavia in Station Road, Hereford, and in Credenhill, on February 24.

He had 47 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.
Donnelly, of Trenchard Avenue, Credenhill, was fined £80 and disqualified from driving for 12 months at his sentencing in Hereford on April 17.
He was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £96 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
