A BREAKDOWN of Paul Keetch's expenses out today (Tuesday) shows the MP for Hereford claimed £142,385 over the past financial year - including well over £87,000 in staffing costs.
Figures made available by Mr Keetch, having been released by the Commons authorities, show he spent 80% of his total parliamentary allowances in 2008/2009.
The staffing allowance (£87,617.53) far outstripped the next biggest total which was office costs (£27,000.17).
A £23,351.74 second home allowance claim and £4,417.02 in communications claims complete the breakdown - as released.
Mr Keetch has pledged to put regular updates of his claims on his website in future, which will also be published at herefordtimes.com
