A "BEAUTIFUL" young woman has been killed in a road accident near Ross-on-Wye just two weeks short of her 21st birthday.
Kate Mitchell died when her Peugeot 206 was in collision with a Ford Focus at the junction of the A449 and B4224 at Old Gore at around 11.50am on Saturday.
Three people in the other car, a man and a woman believed to be in their 50s, and a teenage boy, had multiple minor injuries and were taken to Hereford County Hospital.
Kate's family said they had been left "totally devastated" by the tragedy and paid a full tribute to the Brinsop Design Consultant in this week's Hereford Times.
Witnesses to the accident should call police on 0300 333 3000.
