Mirabel Osler, who will be in conversation with Sir Roy Strong at Castle House Hotel
ON October 19 Castle House Hotel, in conjunction with Waterstone’s, presents An Evening with Sir Roy Strong in conversation with Mirabel Osler.
The event is a reprise of a sell-out literary lunch in Shrewsbury where Sir Roy and Mirabel spoke, as they undoubtedly will again, about life, gardens and travel, about which both have written extensively.
Mirabel’s most recent book The Rain Tree is a memoir recounting, among much else, her life in Thailand and Corfu, where she lived until returning to live in Shropshire some 20 years ago when, with her late husband Michael, she became an ‘accidental gardener’.
