A BUILDING in Hereford city centre that has been closed for nearly a year is being taken over.

Formerly Geek Retreat, the premises in Blueschool Street/Catherine Street has been shut since last June. Featuring a comic-style mural and posters, it was popular for many people after being set up during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The hub also served food, including burgers, fries, sweet snacks and ice-cream milkshakes.
