ENTHUSIASTIC young footballers from Knighton have received a boost from Knighton and District Rotary Club to purchase more equipment.
Coach Stuart Davis and assistant Tom Farmer met with Rotary Club president Patrick Smith and Rotary Club community chairman Nick Stimpson on June 15 in training at Bryn-Y-Castell in Knighton and welcomed the donation.
Stuart remarked "We warmly welcome all players under 12 years old and enhancing equipment is crucial to the growth and development of both the club and the juniors".
Rotary Club president Patrick added "Knighton Rotary Club members are keen advocates of local sports and family activities?, as well as supporting local charities in the Knighton area". You can find out more about Knighton Rotary's work in the community on their website knighton.rotary1150.org
