KINGTON Post Office is set for a make-over, closing for three days at the end of the month for refurbishments.
Part of a nationwide campaign to modernise services, Kington’s new-look post office will extend opening hours and feature two open plan serving positions as well as one screened counter.
With the Bridge Street location closing from Friday May 31 to Monday June 3, Kington residents are advised to visit nearby Post Offices at Eardisley or Presteigne.
Tony Jones, Post Office Regional Network Manager for Wales and West England, said: “We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in Kington and we are confident that this new modern Post Office service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.”
