BROMYARD will be playing in Division One of the Worcestershire County League after all next season.
The Flaggoners Green club looked set to drop to Division Two after finishing in last-but-one place in the 2014 campaign but have now been reprieved after Harvington were relegated due to not being able to field three teams next season.
Fielding three sides is a prerequisite for playing in WCL Division 1 and the Birmingham League.
"It's very fortunate on our part," said secretary Edd Oliver.
"I believe it is the first time that a WCL Division 1 club has finished in the bottom two and not been relegated in the 15-year history of the league.
"It’ll be good to still have some Herefordshire derbies with Colwall and Burghill & Tillington."
