HEREFORD Lads Club are appealing the decision not to promote them to West Midlands (Regional) League (WMRL) Premier Division.
As reported by the Hereford Times last week, the city side have been told by the league that they cannot make the step-up due to the club not having the appropriate ground grading.
To meet the requirements, Lads Club need both a small stand and floodlights in order to play at Premier Division level.
A temporary stand has since been erected at the County Ground.
However, Lads Club player-manager Danny Moon says the club will not receive the necessary funds for floodlights to be installed until they have been given the green light to play in the Premier Division.
His side finished runners-up in Division One behind Shifnal Town.
Meanwhile, WMRL chairman Wendy Juggins has confirmed that members clubs will decide on where Bromyard Town will be placed in their constitution for next season.
Town, who are now managed by Graham Glenister, failed to fulfil their last two matches last season and finished second from bottom.
