HEREFORD United have confirmed that Andy Porter will be new manager Martin Foyle's assistant manager.
Porter, a former team mate of Foyle's at Port Vale and was head of youth at Vale Park.
He also was appointed caretaker manager at Vale in 2008 and later worked with Foyle at York City, helping the then Blue Square Bet premier side to two Wembley finals.
When Foyle left York, Porter took the reigns for a short time before he left the Kitkat Crescent himself.
Most recently, he was working as a youth coach at Stockport County.
Porter will house share with Foyle in Hereford during the week.
Meanwhile, Dan Connor has been named as as a part-time goalkeeping coach at Edgar Street.
The Irishman was a player for the Bulls before having to retire through injury.
He then took up a role in the commerical department of the club, which he will now relinquish.
However, he will continue to his job as assistant youth manager as well as his development work at Edgar Street.
