A MUCH-loved former kebab shop is on the market in Hereford.
Number 8 Bridge Street, which was for many years home to Jamal's Kebab House, is being offered on a leasehold basis for £18,000 per annum by agents Sunderlands.
The takeaway closed in February this year after the death of popular Hereford businessman Jamal Haider.
Mr Haider originally opened the business, previously known as 'Petros' with business partner Peter in 1985, becoming full owner and renaming it Jamal's Kebab House some years later.
Sunderlands said the takeaway premises, which comes complete with kitchen equipment, has excellent frontage to Bridge Street and is close to amenities and facilities.
Inside is a ground-floor food sales area with two kitchens and storage rooms to the rear and a considerable-sized cellar below ground level.
The property is well presented with tiled flooring throughout, strip lighting, and an open plan layout, Sunderlands said, while the kitchens are fitted with modern takeaway cooking equipment and large fridges.
Outside is a yard space with further storage in an outdoor building.
