Belmont Farm and Equine Vets Ltd is an independent large animal veterinary practice based in Herefordshire.
The business is owned and run by its four Directors; Matthew Pugh, Dominic Alexander, Andrew Cooke and Nick Gibbon. The practice has its roots in Herefordshire’s agricultural history, with its origin in St Peter’s Square in the centre of the city over a century ago.
The practice was originally mixed but we divided into separate large and small animal vets in April 2015, enabling us to focus our time and effort on delivering a stronger dedicated large animal service. We work out of two branches in Hereford and Bromyard, with nineteen Vets and TB testers and a fantastic team of support staff, our area of work stretches from Abergavenny to Hay on-Wye, from Wigmore to Wichenford, and from Malvern to Monmouth.
From emergency work in the wee small hours to herd or flock health and performance consultancy we strive to provide our clients with a local but progressive service driven by forward thinking vets passionate about animal health, welfare and productivity.
Being large animal focused vets, we are able to go the extra mile with health planning and farm data analysis, this aside; from large dairy herds to small holdings, all of our clients and their animals matter to us.
We provide healthcare and advice for all types of livestock, camelid and equine businesses and owners come rain or shine and always with a smile.
