APPERLEY David Anthony Retired Headmaster of Burghill School and Holmer School. Passed away peacefully at home on the 28th July 2024. A much loved Husband of Audrey, a devoted Dad to Pam and Heather, loving Grandad to Mel and Tom and Great Grandad to Tom, William and Joseph. The funeral will take place at Burghill Church at 1pm on the 19th August 2024. Donations in lieu of flowers to Burghill Church and St Michael's Hospice. Wishing all family my dearest sympathy at this sad time. I have very fond memories of Mr Apperley when he was headmaster at Holmer School and walking his collie in school lunchtime. He was a favourite with all the pupils and cared a great deal for teachers and pupils alike. I have no doubt he will be sadly missed Sincerely Christine Hampton
