Sadly passed away Saturday 19th October, 2024.
Aged 90.
A loving wife to Roy (deceased).
A loving mother to Barrie (deceased) and Vanessa.
Mother in law to Jan and Mark.
Granma to Rebekah, Sarah, Charlotte, Jonathon, Emma and Hannah.
Great granma to Maddy, William, Ava, Esmie, Amelia, Romie and Edie.
Val spent the past three years happily in Chester.
Service at Blacon crematorium on 14th November, 2024 at 11.20. Close family flowers only. Any donations to Stroke Association.

Val was such a kind and generous person and the mum of my close friend Barrie. She was always so welcoming and good-humoured, even during our 'impossible' teenage years. One story she'd happily retell over the years comes from her time working at the Victoria Eye Hospital. Her office gave onto the Whitecross Road and, if she saw me walking past heading for her house, she'd laugh and say to her office mate: 'Oh Barrie's friend Dave just went past - there goes my tea, my pork chop!'
