CALENDARS - Aymestrey has produced its own calendar for 2013 and there isn’t a naked body in sight. What is on display is the fantastic artistic talent in the parish and the wonderful scenery. Most of the photographs were entries in the competition held earlier this year for pictures to illustrate the parish plan. The entries were so good that it seemed a shame not to use more of them, so the idea of the calendar was born. Proceeds will be divided equally between the church and the village hall. The calendars are £7 each and are available from Helen Hamilton 709155, Ken Holland 770367 or Meg Thorpe 780384.
VEGETABLE VAN - Lane Cottage Produce vegetable van is at Aymestrey parish hall every Thursday from 10am to 11.30am.
