SINGING FOR FUN - Singing for Fun continues on the first Friday of each month. The focus is usually on country folk songs and sea shanties but, with Christmas approaching, the group will be practising carols when they meet on December 7 at 7.30pm in Bishops Frome village centre. They will also be singing carols in the village outside the bungalows in Farm Court and afterwards in the Green Dragon on December 18. Those wanting to take part should meet up 7pm outside the village centre.

PARISH COUNCIL - At their November meeting Bishop’s Frome and Fromes Hill parish councillors welcomed Kate McKenzie from Bishops Frome and Graham Marshall from Fromes Hill as new members. There is still one vacancy outstanding. Anyone with an interest is invited to contact the parish clerk on 01432 820074.

COFFEE MORNING - There will be a coffee morning/cake stall and raffle at St Matthew’s Church, Fromes Hill from 10am till noon, this Sunday. All proceeds to church funds.

BINGO - Next Monday there’ll be a bingo session at Bishop’s Frome village centre from 7.30pm. All proceeds to St Matthew’s Church, Fromes Hill.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE - A Christmas fayre is being held in Bishop’s Frome village centre on December 8 from 10am to 1pm. Christmas foods and decorations, games, cakes, refreshments and more. Stalls can be booked for £5 via Wendy in the Community Shop, or via Liz on 01531 640388.
