PARISH PLAN - Work on the parish plan continues into 2013. The playing field focus group undertook a field trip around local playing areas on January 4 and admired a variety of play equipment. It is now working on a design brief to discuss with potential contractors. The group is keen that the playing fields, which are very much in need of improvement, become a ‘village green’, attracting people of all ages. A meeting of the housing focus group on January 16 on the first draft for questions to ask residents about views on housing development agreed to invite speakers from Herefordshire Council and other ‘expert witnesses’. Future meetings are planned as follows: Steering group, January 30 and February 27; playing field focus group, February 11; housing focus group, February 7; transport focus group, February 6.
