A FUNERAL will be held for the Herefordshire woman murdered by her husband – despite her body never being found.
Police have vowed to continue the search for Alethea Taylor, whose husband John was last week sentenced to serve a minimum of 17 years for her murder.
With the trial finished, the friends and family of the 63-year-old said they would try to ensure a funeral service would be held.
Herefordshire councillor Sebastian Bowen said a date could be set for early May.
He added that a funeral would provide “the right and proper conclusion”.
