TICKETS are still available for the Great Spring Gardening Event in Herefordshire.
This year the annual British Red Cross fundraiser takes place at the private Whitfield Estate in Wormbridge.
The estate is not generally open to members of the public and so the event will offer a chance for visitors to enjoy its parkland and private gardens.
Now in its 16th year the event is recognised as an important occasion on both the horticultural and social calendar.
Television presenter and Herefordshire resident Jules Hudson is supporting it, and gardener, writer and television presenter Sarah Raven has donated 3,000 packets of seeds to help with the charity’s fundraising efforts.
The event runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Wednesday April 24.
Admission is £7 per person at the entrance gate or £6, in advance at www.redcross.org.uk/gardeningevent.
