HEREFORSHIRE Council have confirmed that traffic lights on one of Leominster's busiest roads have broken completely.
The traffic lights on Bargates monitor the flow of traffic from three directions and will now need to be replaced.
Herefordshire Council sent engineers from Amey to assess the situation earlier today.
Kerry Thompson, Communications Officer, at Herefordshire Council said:
"The lights at Bargates have failed completely and are in need of replacement.
"Temporary lights have been installed and are now working. We have been in contact with the traffic lights maintenance team who have ordered replacement traffic lights which will take approximately a week."
