HEREFORSHIRE Council has confirmed that traffic lights on one of Leominster's busiest roads are need of a major refit which could take up to two months.
Temporary traffic lights were installed but due to several cars running the lights the system tripped and the lights are now permanently set on red.
Engineers will try to reset the original lights but a major refit is now required.
Herefordshire council have confirmed it will take more time to resolve the issue than originally expected.
Until new permanent lights are installed there will be no pedestrian crossing facility.
