PART of a 12th-century church near Ledbury could be updated.
Plans have been submitted for work to be carried out on Aylton Church’s bell tower.
The church’s parochial church council has applied for the maintenance to be undertaken at the grade II-listed building, which has suffered “structural movement” for a number of years.
The tower – known as a belfry – will still be used for bell ringing.
